OPENING GAME Vs. Team Savages
The Strikers run over Team Savages thanks to the help of Jake Mannix. Mannix walks away with 6 goals and an apple, Maurer claims his first geino with his new club. O'Connor and Croll step it up in net and make some huge saves to keep the Strikers on top. Two factors played a huge role in this game, dirty Mannix and sucky second team for the Savages. Lil' Mannix presented himself as a huge threat in terms of flops, providing the Strikers with bountiful set pieces. Helmus was kept of the sideline due to deadly desease MRSA, but in turn made up for the loss of Strikers Manager, Jordan Scott who has been detained by his parents for the rest of the season, and possibly for the rest of his life. The strikers also missed out on key players Emmett Wint and Chris Thomas. Either way the Strikers are off to a good start this season, shrugging off their hardest competition in the first week.

Week 2 Vs. Enfield F.C.
The Strikers rejoiced on the return of Ian Maynard who traveled roughly 30 miles by camelback to make the game. The squad found no road blocks this game, finishing off Enfield F.C 13-2. All of the Super Strikers scored, and Jake Mannix left with only 5 goals. A sad moment in his career, indeed. Nonetheless, Darby O'Connor and John Croll once again showcased their skill in net and, in fact, let in a couple goals because they felt bad. Yes, the Strikers are looking up, but competition is not out of site they fear. The blue devils are currently leading the league. While the Strikers have the same record and more goals for, the blue devils has 6 less goals against. The blue devils competition has not been the greatest so their true strenth will only be tested when they face the Strikers.

Week 3
The Strikers hope to have Emmett Wint and Chris Thomas return to the pitch. Neither have made it to either of the games this season, the hopes of ordering the jerseys for the remaining weeks of the season are slimming down, as they haven't paid Judy Mannix yet.
