History of the Club

Est. 2005, The Super Strikers are the pioneers of modern football, and have grown to be the most dominant force in the nation. Originally, the Super Strikers entered the league as Celtic, later changing name to the Soca Warriors Of Trinidad and Tabaigo, their most successful season up to date. In early 2014 the club introduced the new team name The Super Strikers and launched a new team kit, voted “The Sexiest Team Kit” in the league. This plaque is expected to sit next to the Super Strikers’ “Sexiest Football Team of the Century” trophy in the clubhouse. Despite The Strikers’ tendency to take massive dumps on their opposition, they are known as being a top notch class team. Star Midfielder/Goal Keeper, Darby O’Connor, displayed what class is in a tremendous example of sportsmanship against the Ludlow Lions in 2013. After being punched in the face in a close game with tempers rising, O’Connor merely stood his ground with no attempt at retaliation. He is quoted saying, “You punch like a bitch.” These words have become the unspoken slogan of the club as they are not afraid of any competition. The Super Strikers beat the Lions in a run-away second half, 7-2. The Club looks forward to another successful season, attempting their first technically undefeated season.
